I have uploaded my own font to the site in all the different five file types. First I uploaded the book weight (which I've categorised as normal in the 'font weight' dropdown) then I clicked 'add font variant' and uploaded the bold version. It seems to recognises that there is two different weights but displays both as book (normal) in the preview and on the site when I save them as different 'CSS selectors'.
I know I could probably upload the bold as a completely different font and assign that to the relevant 'CSS selectors', however I would like the system to recognise that they are variants of the same font so I can switch between 'normal' and 'bold' within the same text block - is this possible?
Can you please share your Wordpress credentials because I need to login to your site and test this issue. Your information is safe here (private) in this thread.
To include your credentials click Insert Credentials button in editor toolbar (see how)
I think that I found a solution for your question (see video).
Have a nice day!
P.S: I can see on your System Status page that some of your PHP limits are lower than Wordpress and modern themes require. For more info please carefully read this article WordPress and Kalium Server Requirements, and on this page you can find a sample email that you can send to your hosting provider too.

Hi Ylli,
Thanks for that but it didn't seem to work unfortunately, do you recommend anythings else?
Thanks,
Lisa
Hi Lisa,
I created a separate font for the bold variant (see video), that is the only good method because how your font is implemented.
Have a nice day!
Thanks Ylli,
How do I use both font in the dame text box?
Lisa
Hi Lisa,
You just make your text bold and the bold font variant will apply automatically.
Never mind, whatever you did, works! Thanks so much Ylli
Woohoo, always happy to hear those words from clients
