Hi there. My website hosts audio guides and I'd like to be able to display a route (rather than just a marker) on the custom maps in my portfolio items. The user can use the map embedded in the page to guide their walk.
I would like to be able to set markers at points A (start) and B (end) and be able to modify the walking route generated (for example through adding destinations between A and B as on Google Maps).
I have looked into plugins that support annotated markers based on Open Street Map and polylines based on longitude/latitude coordinates. But I want the route to be generated by OSM or Google so that I can just adjust it lightly myself. I need a route to be visible, not just an annotated marker.
Thanks for your help.
Hi,
Please check if this solution works for you (read here) then you can embed the Google Maps in your site.
Have a nice day!
