    Does the envato-theme update work even though I have used a child theme?

    Yes, you can perform theme updates when you use Child theme toosmile.png

    First you need to activate Kalium theme (more info), then once a new theme update is out you will receive a notification in the Wordpress dashboard > Updates area (more info).

    You don't need Envato Market plugin to update Kalium.
