Hi there. I would like to make my navigation more intuitive by adding a permanent "sticky" left sidebar containing my main menu, similar to http://www.peter-coulson.com.au/.
This needs to be permanently visible on every page site-wide... blog pages, portfolio pages, single pages, blog search results and so on -ie everywhere - while not disabling the main content outside the sidebar. I'm not using WooCommerce.
I have tried downloading plugins etc but am struggling to get them working. I've installed & activated WP Sticky Sidebar (https://wordpress.org/plugins/mystickysidebar/#installation), but it has the following instructions and I don't know what kaliums sidebar class or sidebar CSS ID is.
"Go to Settings / WP Sticky Sidebar and change Sticky Class to .your_sidebar_class or sidebar css id."
Also, where do I edit the sidebar CSS for formatting of menus within?
Having a sticky side menu always visible is not possible in Kalium.
If you're looking for professional help in this matter, there's always someone available for such tasks on the WP Kraken or Codeable. Pricing and timeline are always straightforward there and that's the main reason for recommending those services.
Note my kalium page at guycarnegie.com is NSFW.
