However, although the video upload worked and the video plays, it includes additional information (from a "modal" window, or something). See attached screenshot or the page at https://beige.company/home-2/ (work in progress).
The problem is caused by a plugin which you have installed (Autoptimize) and not by the theme, here you can find additional information for the video shortcode.
Hello. I'm trying to use a self-hosted video on a page and followed the instructions here: https://laborator.ticksy.com//ticket/1596192/
However, although the video upload worked and the video plays, it includes additional information (from a "modal" window, or something). See attached screenshot or the page at https://beige.company/home-2/ (work in progress).
Any ideas how to get rid of this?
Thanks!
Hi there,
The problem is caused by a plugin which you have installed (Autoptimize) and not by the theme, here you can find additional information for the video shortcode.
Best regards,
Laborator Team
Thanks, Art.
And for those (few) who are trying to self-host videos and are using the Autoptimize plugin, here's what I did to solve the issue:
1. In Autoptimize, exclude 'kalium/assets/js/video-js/video-js.min.css' from CSS
2. To add a video, use the 'Raw HTML' element in WPBakery
Thank you for sharing this information with us, other users might find it helpful.
Have a great day
