I'm working on a site in staging. There are quite a few portfolio items I would like to exclude from the portfolio archive page. For example, I have created a number of portfolio items with the sole purpose of creating a columned layout on the homepage. These should not be included on the archive page.
Is there any way to exclude specific items or categories from the portfolio archive page?
Excluding categories and items from the portfolio archive is not possible but you can exclude them from a portfolio page or using the portfolio items element in WPBakery Page Builder, all these using the Custom Query option.
Thanks for getting back to me. In that case, do you know if the suggestion to hide the portfolio archive page in this link https://laborator.ticksy.com//ticket/1629876/ still works?
When I try to do this via Appearance > Editor I get the following error which prevents me from saving the change
Are you sure you have copied the whole code? I have added the code again here so you can try this one. I can't give you a proper answer if it works or not as Arlind (our programmer) is currently not in the office, but you can give it a try.

Hi Art
Thanks for getting back to me. In that case, do you know if the suggestion to hide the portfolio archive page in this link https://laborator.ticksy.com//ticket/1629876/ still works?
When I try to do this via Appearance > Editor I get the following error which prevents me from saving the change
"Scrape nonce check failed. Please try again."
Thanks
Hi Peter,
