I have more than 20 portfolio items. They are categorised into 3 categories.
I would like to present only 2 categories on a portfolio page. I followed the instruction under https://documentation.laborator.co/kb/kalium/show-custom-portfolio-items-custom-query/.
I created a portfolio page using the "Portfolio Page Template".
Under "Parameter and Options" / "Portfolio Settings" / "Custom Query" / "Select From Category" I ticked the 2 categories I would like to present.
However, all items from all 3 categories are displayed on the portfolio page.
The reason why it did not work is because you have set the Custom portfolio item URL prefix to galerie and the test page which you were testing has the same slug, the Portfolio Post Type will automatically create a page named in the custom URL prefix so you can't have a page with the same slug, currently I have changed the slug of the Galerie page to galerie-test and as you can see the changes are online.

Hi,
Meanwhile, I fould this article https://documentation.laborator.co/kb/kalium/i-cant-filter-my-categories-in-build-query/ in your support area.
I thought, it might be the solution to my problem.
Unfortunately, the custom query does not work when I choose "Select from Tags".
Can you please assist?
Regards,
Jörn.
Hi Jörn,
The reason why it did not work is because you have set the Custom portfolio item URL prefix to galerie and the test page which you were testing has the same slug, the Portfolio Post Type will automatically create a page named in the custom URL prefix so you can't have a page with the same slug, currently I have changed the slug of the Galerie page to galerie-test and as you can see the changes are online.
