Update: I just discover that issue occurs when masonry mode is enabled. If I disable it the custom query works fine. But i would like to use both features. It could be possible? Could you review the issue whit the provided credentials, please?
As you mentioned this happens only when you select the Masonry Mode, you cannot use these two options together as the Masonry Mode has it's own custom query which means you have to select items one by one manually, that is the reason why these two do not work.

I have a problem because I can´t use custom query on portfolio pages in order to filter by categories portfolio.
I have checked this KB, but I can´t solve the problem. Trying to use simple permalinks instead of entry names also doesn´t work
