On my site I've added a few projects to appear on my Projects page (renamed from Portfolio). The problem I am having is that when using Page Builder to add other elements to my Projects page, none of them show up. For example I'd like to have a header image like https://demo.kaliumtheme.com/construction/projects-list and I can make one in Page Builder but it doesn't appear. I have tried deleting the page and making another one, and the issue remains. Is there a setting I am missing in the Theme Settings?
Instead of using the default generated portfolio page create a new blank page and using the WPBakery Page Builder and the portfolio elements, this way you will be able to add other content for example a header to that page or many other elements. In this guide you can find out how to create a portfolio page using the page builder.
Thank you for your reply. Your answer put me on the right track to my issue, which is that I had changed the URL Rewrite Options so that the portfolio page was renamed to "projects", and was therefore being overwritten with all the theme settings.
To follow this up, this presents another question. How do I have a custom portfolio page with all the Page Builder elements I want, and also rewrite the portfolio URL from "portfolio" to something else like "projects"? If I have the URL Rewrite turned on, then it overwrites the portfolio page and the custom elements disappear.
I don't know if I have understood your question but you can only have one portfolio "slug" and not have many copies of them, while you can create how many portfolio pages you want using the page builder.
