I've installed the theme with ease and I'm glad it works super well.
Nevertheless, I don't want the end user to be administrator and as an author (nor as an editor) can he select the portfolio type when adding a new portfolio item.
Moreover, would it be possible to define a default type?
Actually, even for another administrator user, the "select portfolio type" panel is empty. It shows up only for my user (which is the first created account).
Portfolio problem is happening because you have updated Advanced Custom Field plugin to version 5.7.6. Luckily we have released an update that will fix this problem.
The latest version for the moment is 2.6 (read release notes), please update your theme first and then after you update the theme, there is a chance that we also updated some of the plugins that we offer. To update those plugins to the latest version that we support, just go to Appearance > Install Plugins.
This should solved your issue
P.S: When you install this update please go to plugins section and deactivate and delete the free version of Advanced Custom Fields and their addons “Flexible Content Field, Gallery Field and “Repeater Field”.
I have two sites that are running Kalium and both are in different states of disarray because of the ACF errors. One I had to completely rebuild from scratch after one of your updates crashed the site.
In this moment:
- one page stopped updating to 2.6 with an error & there seems to be no option to try the update again. - one the other page the update went through. But (as you stated in your p.s.) I deleted all the ACF plugins - I was only able to install the main ACF plugin through Appearance > Install Plugins. Advanced Custom Fields: Flexible Content Field, Advanced Custom Fields: Gallery Field & Advanced Custom Fields: Repeater Field didn't install, neither can I find them under "install Plugins". (I only know of these because I have the second site)
That option is not available for the moment but I have added it in our to-do list for future updates

Works as expected now, awesome! Thank you for your reactivity :)
Still, is there a way to set a default type for all new portolio items?
Regards,
Quentin
Man, this is a clusterfuck!!

This is really unacceptable!
Hi Quentin,
I'm glad to hear that
