Can you tell us what is not working, I activated the Yoast plugin in your site and I could make changes to the meta description of your homepage, where have you stuck?
please check my 3 attached images. i have changed home page meta description in first image and in 2nd image google search result and in 3rd image facebook post. meta description is showing different in 2nd and 3rd images. i have changed meta description but it's not showing in facebook and google.
The meta description will need time to be crawled by Google, this is not something you or us can manage and it usually takes days and even months for your content to be crawled and updated. For Facebook you have the other fields within the Yoast settings in that page, just check the options and you will see the Facebook options there.
