This will disable images to be clickable, for your pre-loader problem I couldn't check it since the login credentials don't seem to be working anymore.
Please update the theme to the latest version (3.1.1) and then go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update the WPBakery Page Builder too and the other premium plugins too. After that we can check further.

Using Custom CSS you can disable the images from being clickable or linkable, but I couldn't see any image in attached link.

This is another issue with Stories and the Media Grid PRELOADER, sometimes the images won't be loaded up and the Preloader just keeps working...
See attachment, we don't want the lightbox, but also not that the images can be clicked on to show full size.
Can you help us with that?
