When choosing a portfolio item type such as side, is it it possible to add a title or brief description to any video added to the gallery? Or at least have the player display the original vimeo title?
This is managed by the Vimeo user and it depends on the settings that the user has set for embedding his/her videos. Anyway there is an option to use the parameters manually by adding these parameters after each Vimeo video link:
and my previous site (also wordpress, but using a modified version of the standard theme with custom css etc). Here I didn't use anything special to display the vimeo videos, I just copy paste the vimeo link into the body of the post.
is there a way to enable the title and user display by default across the whole site? I have added probably hundreds of vimeo videos to my site now, and to go through every single one one by one would be a bit tedious.
Unfortunately changing this setting for all the videos is not possible, as the Vimeo options are not possible with the current theme options so the only way is to add the parameters of the video at the end of the link as I explained in my last reply.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I am the vimeo user, and I have it set to display title etc.
E.g. you can see the exact same video embedded in wordpress in my current site (using kalium)
