Inside blog posts, the Recent Posts widget shows a link to same blog post currently being viewed.
Is there a way to exclude the blog post link from the list, which links to the same article being viewed?

Ah dang, tried those. Even clicking "Do not list the current post?" has no effect.
Tried this with a number of themes. Bought Kalium for fresh start in hopes it would work :)
Pet peeve of mine. Must be something else wrong with site.

I deleted all plugins.
Only installed Recent Posts Widget Extended.
Checked "Exclude Current Post"
And no change. The current post still appears in Recent Posts.
