I have 10 categories that i want to have up to 20-30 pictures in each. BUT I really don't want to see all of them on ALL page.
How can I limit the amount of pictures on All page? When I click on a category I still want to see the rest of pictures
2- Is there a way to remove the Item title when hovering over a picture, but keep the category? In my case they are the same, example: item name PORTRAIT Category Portrait
1. Limiting the items only in the All category is not possible, you can limit the number of items but then they will be limited also on other categories. If you want to limit them go to the homepage and edit it, scroll down to Parameters and Options on the Portfolio Settings tick the Custom Query option, now a new tab with the same name will appear, click the Custom Query tab which has appeared and scroll down to the Items per Page option where you can type how many items you want to load in the homepage.
2. That's not possible through the theme options but you can achieve that using CSS, add the following CSS to Custom CSS area on your site:
I understand that ALL means ALL:) Quick question: Can I make an alternative front page instead of ALL (and making ALL disapear? A new front page that can show only the pictures I want to show, kind of greatest hits? Let say 3-4 pictures of each category, and when i click on the category i can see 20-30 pictures on that particular category /page?
That sounds great! The only thing is that I have installed everything locally, with xampp. Is there anyway I can give you access? or does this only work with wordpress web/ online install? As you understand I am quite novice in WP.

1- I have a homepage as of today on a domain I can give you access to. I can find a way to install Kalium on this domain/site, as long as wp does not make a conflict with my existing site. I need some time to find this out.
2- Will the changes you make be deleted on the next update of the theme, do i have to stop updating the theme, any pros/ cons?
Now I have the Kalium photo theme uploaded with some categories and some pictures so it is easier for you to get the idea. it is on a test site. Do you have a email so I can send you the credentials?
I talked with the team and checked what is possible through the theme, the "All" cannot be removed as it will be automatically created when adding a portfolio item on your site. And in the default "All" area you cannot select the images you want to show and how many from which category as they will be automatically selected by their order, you can change the order of them and then maybe you'll have a better way to manage these items.
Thanks for your reply. Since I can not remove ALL, Is there another way for me to create a new front page with a static / rotation of pictures that looks like the ALL page only limited number of pictures? Any ideas?
You can use the Custom Query feature and select the portfolio items you want to show one by one, or just by one category, or select how many items you want to load. We have explained the Custom Query in our documentation or you can see how I am selecting the items in the video below:

If you click ALL at any time you will see all the pictures. Is that way to limit the pictures on the new first page (HOME) since we can not remove ALL?
The most important thing is to keep the look of the theme on the New front page (HOME)
You cannot limit only the "All" while leaving the categories show all the portfolio items, when you limit the All then any other category will be limited too, so the best is to show all of them at once. I have duplicated your home page to a new one where I have not limited any of the items, so they are all showing there at once:

Unfortunately only you can have access to XAMPP or MAMP since it is installed on your computer and not somewhere online.

1. That's great, when you have the site online please provide us the site URL and credentials.
