    Hello! I just migrated a site from Prestashop to Woocommerce and your wonderful theme Kalium. Is an ecommerce site but also has an special section for projects with a different menu (using conditional menus plugin): http://mondecoshop.com/interiorista-marbella/

    The thing is your search box (since it's regular WP search) displays hidden products (main problem for me) and posts in search results. So we would like to use a more accurate ecommerce search for the shop, and leave WP search for blog and portfolio pages.

    Tried the plugin Advance Woo Search (you can find the widget on footer left side) and would like to make it work on kalium header. Is there anyway to achieve this? The developer provides this code to implement on php files:

    echo do_shortcode( '[aws_search_form]' );

    Don't know if it could be possible using your search box or styling a new one, what do you recommend? Is there any better solution? Are you planning new features in this area?

    Thanks in advance, regards!

    Hi Martonita,

    I would recommend you to install Black studio tinymce widget or any another plugin that can allow you to have widgets with rich text editor and you can simply set the shortcode in content :

    [aws_search_form]

    Thank you.

    Thank you Eroll,

    i already use the widget, both in footer and sidebar. My goal is to use it in the header area / mobile menu area like yours. You meant I should create new widget areas?

    Best regards,

    Marta

    Hi Marta,

    Now is clear for me what you wanted to do, well for sure you have to make new widget area and sidebar declaration on header.php, this requires Custom Code unfortunately we don't offer Custom Code in this package.

    If you're looking for professional help in this matter, there's always someone available for such tasks on the WP Kraken or Envato Studio. Pricing and timeline are always straightforward there and that's the main reason for recommending those services.

    Thank you.
