Hello, I was thinking about saving time and using one of the demo installs (specifically, either the Freelancer or the Agency) and there is a notice on the Wordpress page that says ' We recommend to install only one demo content pack per WordPress installation. This process is irreversible!' Does this mean that if I install one demo product, that I can't uninstall it? Or that I can only try one demo product? It seems a bit confusing. I looked up all the documentation, and there is no answer. How can I test a design before committing? Another question is about the child template -- I know I have to activate the main theme to be able to install child themes, but if I download a demo template, can I then make it a child theme?
The reason we don't recommend to install two demos is that each demo has different settings not just in products, posts etc.. but also in Custom CSS, Settings, Theme Options etc..
You can install one demo and see how is done then clean up the installation by using one of the plugins we recommend: WordPress Reset (By Matt Martz),then install new Demo.
Thank you for correcting me, Child Theme helps you to override current files of theme and has nothing to do with Demo Content, Demo Content is only Data doesn't effect the files of theme.
