Just setting things up and it works great, however I was wondering if there is a way to have 2 portfolios with different portfolio items within one website.
What I mean is let's say the start page/portfolio page "work" shows items of my 1st portfolio and then I have another page let's call it "personal work" which shows a different selection of portfolio items.
How can I do that?
I guess it is somehow possible using different portfolio categories and just allow these categories for one of the 2 portfolios, but I don't see this as a current option.....any help is highly appreciated!
Remember that www.yoursite.com/portfolio is a reserved URL so all your created portfolio items will show on this page. ...or, you can remove/rename this area (more info).
Now to create multiple portfolio pages and select what categories or what projects you want to show on that page and what on the other page is very easy. So you can do that using WPBakery Portfolio Items widget, and then select what you want to show on that page by using the Build query option, more info on this article.
Thanks Ylli for the fast reply, it all makes total sense and works great. Just one small question, I have seen to filter the portfolio items per portfolio using WPBakery I can use tags. But where can I set a tag for each specific portfolio item in the Portfolio section?
UPDATE: I've just seen that the "Categories" and "Tags" fields won't work but only the "Taxonomies" field, as described in the documentation.
While this works, is there some way to use "Tags" for each portfolio item in addition to "Categories"? This would make it a bit more flexible using items for the same category in both portfolios.
UPDATE: Found the solution, just needed to activate "Portfolio Tags" under Laborator/Portfolio Settings/Other Settings.
