Hi, I was wondering why there are so many plugins with this theme, and which ones of them I could possibly delete (if any)? I try to keep the number of plugins to a minium (about 10), but this is difficult considering how many you're using. :p
Also, I would like to translate the theme front-end to Norwegian. I actually prefer having the WP admin panel in English, but is this possible as per your translation instructions? I tried changing the site language, however not everything got translated, see screen shot. Only "Kommentar" was translated correctly.
Plugins we highly suggest to install and activate that Kalium requires them to work properly:
Advanced Custom Fields (plus ACF related plugins)
Visual Composer
Other recommended plugins (based on sections of the theme you want to use):
Portfolio Post Type (for portfolio site)
WooCommerce (If you want to use Shop on you site)
Revolution Slider (plugin if you want to use sliders)
Layer Slider (another slider plugin, if you don’t use this plugin you can uninstall it)
Size Guide (If you use WooCoomerce and you need a size guide area)
2— Kalium theme is translated on Norwegian by our users so it can happen that translations are not 100% correct.
You can keep your Wordpress in English and translate your site on your language, to do that please see this video that i recorded for you: http://drops.laborator.co/spETxj.
Thanks Ylli, but it's difficult to understand what the ACF plugins do, i.e. it's difficult for me to know if I need them.... Further, why are there two sliders plugins? Do you recommend using both or only one, and in the case of the latter, which one??

If you want to use Slider on your page you can use Revolution Slider or Revolution slider... or both.
I prefer Revolution Slider to make sliders. I just leave Layer Slider disabled or deleted, it's a matter of taste.
ACF plugins are required because our theme is relied on them, they power the Parameters and Options area on your pages and some extra things that are needed for the theme to work correctly.
