1) I am having a problem adding more under categories to several of the portfolios. One of the categories have two under categories, but the 3.one is not showing even i have chosen a correct parent.
2) How can i add more thumbnail to a single portfolio and /or category?

1. In the picture attached, the category shown there is Portrett and there are 3 sub-categories, which are showing except the one with 0 portfolio items, because it doesn't have any portfolio item to show.
2. Didn't understand how you want to add more thumbnails to a single portfolio, while the attached image is showing a portfolio page.
Regarding the editors recommended, we don't recommend any other editor than WPBakery Page Builder (previously known as Visual Composer), but it is available only for Pages, portfolio items with the Visual Composer layout.
P.S. Our support works from Monday to Friday, on weekends the support is not available, as noted in our item page.
