This is the first time we have got this report, can you try installing it online somewhere and see if you're facing this issue as to me it seems more as a server mis-configuration (yes I know you're on localhost).

Thanks, I have access to the wordpress dashboard but the tech person that has the server access has said to me this: ( sorry..I'm just the girl in the middle who thought your theme is perfect for what i need. lol) below....
You should tell them that this is the totally standard Microsoft Azure install of Wordpress.
It runs perfectly fine with the standard themes, and hasn’t been customised (other than a few fairly standard plugins).
The server configuration has not been altered from the standard setup, and we’re using the latest version of WordPress.

If you want to get a fix for your site you will have to cooperate, and cooperation means to share your login credentials. There is no other way we can fix your issue, since it was never reported before by any other users. The theme is not a book that we can find the errors and issues as paragraphs, we have to test it by ourselves and if this is not possible for you to share the credentials, then I am sorry but we are not able to help, even though we are trying to
