    Hi Furkan,

Have you previously installed WooCommerce so the products have a place where they can be imported, as I see none of your products is showing so firstly install the WooCommerce plugin, then follow up with importing the demo content again.

If you want you can reset your Wordpress installation by using this plugin Wordpress Reset (By Matt Martz) and then activate the theme and try to install demo-content again.

    Best regards,
    Laborator Team

Is there a page something like "Contact Us"? And I want to change the text of search area filed, how can I do that?

    Hi Furkan,

As you can see in the demo, there is no contact page on the demo itself, but you can create a blank page and select the Contact Template on the right side of the page so it will get the parameters and options of the contact page, which you can setup manually.

    Hi Furkan,

    1. Make sure you have the Books page assigned as a shop page, follow the instructions on the image below:

To translate or change theme strings, you can do this via Loco Translate plugin. If you don't have this plugin, please install and activate it in your WordPress site.

    1. Then go to Loco Translate > Manage Translations

    2. Click "New Language" for the current active theme (if you didn't created it yet, otherwise ignore this step). On the new language page, choose these options – click here http://d.pr/i/1ewoc

    3. After that you will be redirected to the editing screen for theme translations. Before you continue make sure this is true – click here http://d.pr/i/18h0w

    4. Follow these instructions to learn how to translate strings – http://d.pr/i/1jsek

    5. The changes will be applied immediately – http://d.pr/i/1ju6w

Note: Translation files will be saved to wp-content/themes/{theme-name}/languages folder. Here you have the explanation – http://d.pr/i/1lBCJ

After you make your changes, always save a backup when there is new theme update. After you update the theme (languages folder will be replaced), just move the backup files you previously saved to the same languages directory and your changes will still be applied.

    Best regards,

    Thanks for your help.

Actually the plugin that you said is somehow different, probably because of the version.

The menus in the screenshots are not the same as the latest version of the plugin.

    Hi Furkan,

I think you didn't get the steps clearly, if your site language by default is English then you have to create the English language translation in Loco Translate, but instead you have created the Turkish translation so I have switched the WordPress language to Turkish and now the search field is showing in turkish.

Thanks for your help, but actually I did not get it clearly. You changed the wordpress theme language but now where can I change the other strings, I am a bit confused?

    Thanks

    Hi Furkan,

If you want to keep the site language in Turkish, then you can translate it without problem, but if you want to get it back to English (as it was before I changed it) then you have to create a new language in Loco Translate and make the changes there.

    Hi Art,

I go to Loco Translate -> Home -> (active theme) Aurum -> Turkish

I think this is not the right place to make the translation. Is it right?

For an example, In the "http://lykeion.com.tr/books/" page, there is Search products input area, to make a sample, what should I do to change it to Turkish?(Which menus) ?

    Thanks from now.

One more question, I want a page for authors. But as I see, there is no template for that, could you give me some advice how to do that? Or I can purchase help and pay for it also

    Hi Furkan,

Your login credentials don't seem to be working anymore, maybe you've changed the password. I don't quite understand your question about the translation, if you follow the instructions I gave you regarding the translation work then you should continue using that method.

Regarding the author page, as you can see in the demo page there is no author page in the demo content so you will need to manually create the page by adding simple images and text to create a team page.

    Hi again Furkan,

I will try to explain so you will understand it clearly.

If you are using  English as the default language then in Loco Translate you have to edit the strings in English and not any other language, since you want to change only that word.

If you are using Turkish as the default WordPress language, then edit the Turkish area of strings.

The logic of this is to edit the strings in that language that your site is actually set in the settings, I hope I made myself clear.
