This is a known "issue" and most of the times it is because of the server, please read the the the server requirements article and make sure your server meets the minimum required limits for the theme to work.
My server meets the minimum required limits for the theme, but I still get the same error message. I run another wordpress-site with Kalium and it works well (with the same system status settings).
Can you please share your site credentials here, because we need to login to your site and see this issue live. Your information is safe (private) in this thread.

The server requirements are not set up how they should be, there is a firewall from your server which is blocking the theme to install any demo content, the WP Remote Get (as highlighted below) is blocking this, in this case you should contact your host and ask them to allow access to our API Server: https://api.laborator.co
I tried to install the demo-content of "photography" it gives me the following errors:
[ErrType: xml-wp-content]
Sorry, there has been an error. The file does not exist, please try again.
[ErrType: typolab] Typography file doesn't contain valid export code!
I already reinstalled WP and checked PHP-version. Even the environment check says everything is fine.
Any suggestions
