Thanks for the reply, but I actually meant something different. I would like to make it so that images on a portfolio single page redirect to URLs instead of opening the image in a lightbox.
For example, imagine on this demo page that clicking the "Wanderlust" album cover took you to a different website instead of opening a larger version of the image. Basically, I want to take advantage of WP's "Link to Custom URL" feature for images. Does that make sense?
This option doesn't seem to be available in the Project Link feature.
Is it possible to give portfolio gallery images a URL so that clicking them will take users to a new page instead of opening image/lightbox?

Now I understand what you mean, unfortunately that's not possible with single images as they will take you to a larger image size by default.
