    Hi there.

I've been reading your great documentation. I think the problem is my density, lol.

I would like to create a portfolio gallery page that links off to the portfolio items that I create. I've read the portfolio documentation thoroughly but I think I'm a little confused about whether selecting the portfolio page template creates a page with portfolio items arrayed on it (gallery-ish) which link off to the items' pages or whether the template is for just a single portfolio item.

Additionally, is there a css file that is not minified with no spacing?  I have not located it yet in the assets area (I'd assume a non-minified version of main.css?)

    Really appreciate your help.

    Hi tonya9197

We are happy that you have tried your self to solve the issue over documentation we encourage to continue reading before reaching us.

    1) Create Portfolio Page : will help you to show portfolio items, yes the (gallery of portfolio items, but not necessary to call it that way ) that will send you to to the link of portfolio item,

No template isn't per single portfolio item, portfolio items has it's own template selection see the list below:

    Creating a Side portfolio item
    Creating a Columned portfolio item
Creating a Carousel portfolio itemCreating a Zig Zag portfolio item
    Creating a Fullscreen portfolio item
    Creating a Lightbox portfolio item
Creating a Visual Composer portfolio item

If you don't see any portfolio item on Portfolio Page, please refer to the article we wrote about Some Portfolio Items not Showing.

    Hi there,

Thanks for your response.  You are pointing me to the same pages I looked at but I'm still unclear on how exactly to:

a), create a page that will show all my portfolio items - do I call all of them with shortcode somehow?

And I guess I don't understand why you would give the portfolio *item* a format (e.g., columned) versus having the page that displays the item have that format.

I would really just love quick step-by-step on how to create the page and how to pull in the portfolio items I create.  Thanks!!

    Hi tonya9197,

As soon as you create your first Portfolio Project, the http://tonyamillerdesign.com/portfolio page will be created automatically.

    — To change the layout of that http://tonyamillerdesign.com/portfolio page you need to go to Theme Options > Portfolio Settings > Portfolio Layout.

    Documentation: Portfolio Types

    — To add portfolio on any page, like we added on agency homepage for example, you can do that with Visual Composer element Portfolio Items.

Documentation: Portfolio Items from Visual Composer widget.

As for this question: "And I guess I don't understand why you would give the portfolio *item* a format (e.g., columned) versus having the page that displays the item have that format."

Can you please try to be very specific about this question and explain it more to us, in this way we can easily understand you and give you the proper answer.

Can you please direct me to a non-condensed version of the css styles? The assets/css/main.css file is what I'm looking for.

    Hi tonya9197,

Sorry but the theme does not include uncompressed main.css file. I uploaded it for you if you want to make any modification http://drops.laborator.co/5C1RDz.

P.S: Please be aware as by doing customization if something happens like miss-editing files the responsibility is yours and we wont support you on finding the problem, as we are only guiding you how to get the results you need.
