To choose "variable product" in product-page

    I can only choose simple product in my layout under products. If I try to choose "variable product" it turns to "out of stock" (but in Norwegian..). This is the choice of the "simple product", that just change status whenever I try to supply the "variable product". Also I can not understand how to find the dropbox-menu to adit the choices for variable products. This for the lay-out of the site.
