That's a custom modification and the support doesn't cover that part but I will try to help you somehow, have you tried any Lightbox plugin until now to see if that does the job?

I want to store an image in a link
"View size chart" <<<--------- opens an image when clicked
Then when clicked it will bring up the image of a size chart for my product in a lightbox.
I want this to be in my short product description.
I can get the image to open, but it is not in a light box.
