On this page, I have set up a media grid that loads 8 items and I have used the "Load More Button" option of the grid. But when you click it, instead of loading more items in the grid, it opens a gallery that never stops loading. Can you tell me what's up with that?

To include your credentials click Insert Credentials button in editor toolbar. (See how)
And you have a "show more" button it causes the issue, if you set the gallery to load with Lazy Load you will have the ability to have our lightbox and load the images automatically until we come up with a possible solution for this.
Ok, I will keep it on lazy load until you find a solution. Just and FYI : I have only 21 photos in the gallery, but the counter shows a total of 22. And when you try to see the 22nd photo, it never loads. Don't know if this is related.
I logged into your site and as I can se you have disabled the Portfolio plugin and the portfolio items. Regarding your issue, it may be because the 22nd item does not have an image but is just created as a portfolio item.
Thanks for checking. I just reactivated the Portfolio plugin. Unfortunately, I don't think that this was related to the issue. I went back to the Masonry Media Grid on the page and, in the options, there are just 21 images selected. I unselected the "Use Light Gallery lightbox" and selected "Load More button" as display style. Using those settings, the gallery shows 21 images and the "Plus" button works well.
I tested it again by switching back to "Use Light Gallery lightbox" and checking this option adds a 22nd image that never loads. So I'll keep the "Use Light Gallery lightbox" unchecked for the time being, until something is figured out.

Actually, I switched back to "Use Light Gallery lightbox" without a "Load More button" for now because it looks better on mobile.
