Unfortunately the video background will not work on mobile phones, as you can notice even our main demo the video background is not working on mobile anymore, and that is because mobile phones have stopped letting the videos autoplay or manually play, for more you can read this article by Revolution Slider.
On my iPhone the Kalium main demo slider IS working (autoplay). So there seems to be quite a bit of confusion about which «type» of full screen video sliders (Slider Revolution) are working and which are not.

- Self hosted videos working in Sliders on mobile devices
Is this what others are experiencing, too? So I guess the video Sliders on the Kalium main demo slider are self hosted videos ... Is that right?
You're right, the self hosted videos work perfectly and that is the reason why we have self-hosted that video on our demo, so if you import a web video you can have it autoplay in the site on mobile devices.
P.S. It would be better if you would just reply to your ticket instead of this one, so things won't get messed up
