I'm hoping to import the Photography demo content (I'm Remi) for the Kalium theme, however my wordpress site is not a clean slate - I already have posts and pages from my previous theme, so I don't actually want my previous content deleted in any way. I don't mind though if the demo content import simply adds to what's already there by way of example.
I would like to import all of the various options offered e.g. WordPress Content, Media Files, Typography etc.
So my question is, does the demo content import of Word Press Content (Posts, pages, comments etc) delete what is already there or does it simply add on top of what is already there?
Basically, I don't want to lose my existing Posts, Pages or Comments content. I don't mind losing previous styling etc however.
Demo content imports our theme demos on top of you other pages but we always recommend users to install our theme on a clean Wordpress install because you can have some problems if you install our theme demos on top of your previous Wordpress installation.
For example some of the old theme plugins can create problems on our theme or any different theme.
You can do a backup of your site and test if you are happy with the results, if not, then you need to install a fresh your theme on a fresh Wordpress install.
