Slider revolution control panel error after update

I updated Kalium from 2.0.7 to 2.1.1 and wordpress to 4.8 the day before yesterday and ever since my Slider Revolution control panel in Wordpress doesn't render correctly which blocks me from using it. See attachment.

It seems to be trying to connect to 10.0.1.191 (?) to fetch two images and since the remote server doesn't reply it gets stuck, waiting for the two images and does not render the Slider Revolution control panel completely.
I already contacted the Slider Revolution devs, but 10.0.1.191 isn't one of their servers. I already reinstalled Slider Revolution but I get the same error.
    Unsure what to do now.

In the attachments you'll find a screenshot of how weird the slider revolution control panel looks and the output of firefox dev console regarding the image request from the IP 10.0.1.191.

Any idea what I could do now?

It just occurred to me that the ip request might be unrelated to the Revolution Slider interface not rendering correctly since I do not get the 10.0.1.191 request on the "Navigation Editor", "Global Settings" or "Add-Ons" part of Slider Revolutions settings, but those areas of Slider Revolution do not render correctly as well.
I noticed a little "please wait" (Bitte warten) at the top of each settings screen.
What does this mean? Wait for what?
I initially thought this would mean I'd have to wait for content to load from 10.0.1.191 but now I think it may mean something else.
