    Hi,

    I am really embarrassed. Many of my settings have been changed because of the last update.
    Before the update I pasted this CSS code in the Custom CSS part, to manage the width of my container (.vc container) :

    /* Body: Large Screens */
    @media (min-width: 1200px) {
        .container {
            width: 1170px;
        }

        .vc-container>.vc_row>.row-container.row-default,
        .vc-container>.vc_row>.row-container.row-stretch_row {
            width: 1170px;
        }
    }
    /* Body: Large Screens */
    @media (min-width: 1400px) {
        .container {
            width: 1370px;
        }

        .vc-container>.vc_row>.row-container.row-default,
        .vc-container>.vc_row>.row-container.row-stretch_row {
            width: 1370px;
        }
    }

    It works perfectly before, but since the update, I can not seem to make this code apply to my porfolio pages. (specially all the ones I rebuild with Visual Composer).

    note : it works for the post pages only.

    How can I get the same appearence then before ?

    I read the release notes and tried several things but nothing works as I wanted = > a simple global width of the box container with a 1370 px size..

    The site must be online next week.. really need your help to fix this before.

    All the best,

    Sylvain.

    Hi Sylvain,

    Can you please share your Wordpress credentials here, because I need to login to your site and test this. Your information is safe here (private) in this thread.

    To include your credentials click Insert Credentials button in editor toolbar. (See how)

    Hi Ylli,

    I would like to share credentials but my site is still offline on my localhost.

    Complementory informations I can give :

    - the famous code you sent was working well, and I repasted it in the responsive area of the custom CSS since the last update. But it 's efficient only on my blog pages

    -  Also did cash refresh

    - I pasted the new Custom CSS provide in the release note. The Agency one

    - I tried to update Visual composer

    For the few I can conclude, it appears that the custom codes don't take control of the portfolio pages and my home pages style. These pages have in common not to use any template of Kalium but custom build with Visual Composer

    Hope it helps.

    TKs,

    Sylvain.

    Hi Sylvain,

    Thanks for the feedback. It's strange because we haven't received any complain for this. It's very difficult to help you without testing the code on your live site but can you remove the old code and place this new one

    Please add the code below to your Custom CSS area:

    /* Body: Large Screens */
    @media (min-width: 1400px) {
        .container {
            width: 1370px;
            max-width: 1370px;
        }

        .vc-container .vc-parent-row.row-stretch_row>.vc_row,
        .vc-container .vc-parent-row.row-default {
            width: 1370px;
            max-width: 1370px;
        }
    }
    /* Body: Large Screens */
    @media (min-width: 1200px) {
        .container {
            width: 1170px;
            max-width: 1170px;
        }

        .vc-container .vc-parent-row.row-stretch_row>.vc_row,
        .vc-container .vc-parent-row.row-default {
            width: 1170px;
            max-width: 1170px;
        }
    }

    Hi Ylli,

    I tried to paste the code but there's no effect on any pages with this one. I will post the site update probably this end of the week in its actual states. Then I will give you credential to check what exactly occured. I think it's the best way to proceed. I am quite sure it could be interesting for you to understand what's going wrong.. and for me too by the way ;)

    So I ll commin' back to you soon.

    Best,

    Sylvain.

    Hi again !

    Due to the possible new trafic and to avoid the display of  a typo (Time) which is not suited with the graphic charts of the brand, I have temporarily set a similar font to 'Miso', available in the Google font called " Yanone Kaffeesatz, but it's just to gain time before we find why my custom font 'Miso' is not displayed.

    Best,

    Sylvain.

    Hi Sylvian,

    I just added "body, p" and now the fonts are valid on the entire site http://drops.laborator.co/8Wn9EI

    Sorry to cut any enthousiasm, at least your gently screen video, tks really educational ;)

    But it still doesn't work, it's a false semblance.

    I just verify on my ipad, iphone & the macbook of my girl friend, the 'miso' font still not displayed for a reason I ignore.

    Believe me .. I even have a screenshot of a friend.

    So, you can think " but I have it on my screen as you see it on the video !" :D

    I suspect you are like me :) , you may already have this marvellous"miso"  font install on your PC library (?)

    That's why it appears on all my browsers with my macbook pro, but outside, it's not online..  :(

    I think it can all help us finding the reason, because I'm almost certain that it happened to others Kalium users who use the "custom font" feature but without realizing that it's displayed on their desk but not on the web and ol ...

    To conclude, I have the feeling that it only appears if the typo is already installed on the system

    Note : I use "Abel" for my Body & P .. "miso" is only for Headings and Menu. So I set it again  just after verifying my says.

    Cheers,

    Sylvain.

    Hi Sylvian,

    I don't have this font installed on my device as you can see http://drops.laborator.co/2o3BTi

    I just tested your site from my mobile phone and i can see that the same font is active there too

    Ylli,

     Sorry for the late answer.

    I finally win to fix it yesterday.

    After investigating and running a lot of test with different browsers, a friend of mine told me that it was okay with Chrome, but not the good font in Safari. Trust me, the idea that it was reading system font was not wacky, because when desactivating the font family in my OSX font manager, the Miso font was automatically switch to 'Times' when browsing the site with Safari.

    My research led me to understand the issue was only with Safari and iOS  for one single reason, my stylesheet.css was not configured correctly for the UTF-8 format (thanks @fontface free web generator)

    I needed to add this line on top :

    @charset "UTF-8"

    And booom !! After refreshing, all the Apple devices finallly accept to read correctly the stylesheet.css, as you must have discovered it few time after :D

    Hi amborg,

    I'm very glad to hear that the this problem is completely solved now, you see... it wasn't a theme issue

    Will set this ticket as solved from here.

    Hehe.. Yes not a theme issue ! :P

    The ticket is solved .. just don't forget I have drifted the topic to "font" but initially it was question about the "vc-container" which is not resized on each pages (portfolio and home pages).

    I retried with your responsive code and the update.. I see it take effect on the main menu, blog pages but not with the other pages.

    After this .. I promised I will let you breath .. :D

    Sylvain.

    Hi Sylvain,

    Ok, sorry for that. This ticket has so many replies and i somehow missed that.

    Can you please tell me one or two pages that the code is not working please?

    Thanks!

    To be more precise, the code affect only the main menu and blog posts.

    Hi Sylvain,

    You have added that code on your Custom CSS > Responsive tab, you must add that code on your Custom CSS area.

    P.S: I just did that for you http://drops.laborator.co/cdGFZq and everything is working as it should now.
