    Hi

Using visual composer. Just trying to add a single image to a row and for it to fit the row container. Don't want to go full width of the site. Under image size settings: thumbnail, medium, large or custom dimensions, I can't get it to reach to the left and right edge of the row making the image smaller. Tried using high res images with more than enough size set to 'full'. Also tried custom sizes. Just won't go beyond a certain point. Attached is screen grab. At the base is the image in question. Want it to line up with the row container. Thanks!

I would also like to know how to go full frame width as well. Without doing it as a background image. Thanks.

    Hi Kelly,

Can you please let me know how you exactly want it to be, as I saw on the back-end of that page and the image is within the bounds of the row, except that the row and columns have paddings on both sides.

    Best regards,

I put 0px in the Design Options left/right for the image, the column and the row and it changes nothing for computer display. Does remove padding for smaller displays however. I would simply like the image to fully fit the container width for computer displays.

Would also like to know how to stretch the image full width for all displays. I know about the stretch option for rows and columns, but the image remains the same. Does not stretch with it on computer display. Tried Stretch Row and Stretch Row and Content.

Update: I think it has to do with Single Image. I tried putting in a slide via Slider Revolution and it properly fit the container. Maybe a setting somewhere I am missing?

    Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

Okay. After poking around. I found a setting that was limiting Single Image to 945. Went to Appearance > Edit CSS. Saw a box for Media Width limit set to 945. Switched to 1200 and now it fits. What I would still like to know is how to stretch an image beyond the container with and without padding. The image should auto scale for stretch and not be limited by size. Thanks.

    Hi Kelly,

The only way to stretch an image is to set a class to it (which I have already done), I have added the class in the Custom CSS and when you want to stretch an image edit it and enter the class name which is stretch-image and it will be automatically stretched to 100%.

    Have a great weekend!
