I have been asked to remove (if possible) the summary text which appears on the blog posts page. I am making a database of artists so, the ideal scenario would be to have the thumbnail image, the artists name and what they do. I was wondering if there was any way to do this - the blog page for the artists is a custom post type. If it not possible to remove, is there a way of displaying fewer lines...? Thank you!
One other quick question - on the custom post types I have created, for some reason it doesn't show the blog post perameters... any suggestions?
1— Yes there is possible to remove the description there with the followwing CSS code. Just add the code below to your Custom CSS area:
.wpb_wrapper .lab-blog-posts .blog-post-excerpt p { display: none !important; }
2— Can you please write URL of this exact page please? Also please share your Wordpress credentials here, because I need to login to your site and test this. Your information is safe here (private) in this thread.
To include your credentials click Insert Credentials button in editor toolbar. (See how)
by the way - I also need to be able to add this function to the Digital Artefacts widgets - at the moment we are just making posts with images, but in case we add text as well then the code would be useful, thanks again! - http://education.shadesofnoir.org.uk/digi-artefact/
I'm really sorry but i still can't understand your second question, can you please make a video of the problem or try to be very specific with this question? Thanks.
3 and 4— Sorry but that option is not possible for the blog pages, maybe we can introduce something like that in the future if that is possible to do on Wordpress.
Sorry I wasn't making myself clear! I just wanted to know if it was possible to display the category under the person's name? I am building an artist database so it would be useful to see the discipline on the blog posts page. I have made a mock up in Photoshop, please find attached.
Thanks for making this clear to me. Unfortunately this option is not possible on the Blog Posts (Visual Composer element). But we will see if we can do anything about this on our future updates

Hello Ylli

Thanks again!
