I use Coda - and i would like to use this when changing css for Kalium Child-theme. I can't make it work for me - using the custom css via the WP-dashboard works though. Please advise! BR /Stefan.
Can you please be more specific as I couldn't understand it, do you want to change the CSS via Coda or how? The only way to change the CSS is to overwrite it by using the Custom CSS area.
Like i use to work with child - with the css - style based in the child folder in your theme. This is not working - and why is the style.css in u'r child-folder if not to use for mending? br/S
The style.css file is required to be there if author wants to create a Child theme. We didn't say that you can't make changes there but we recommend to apply styles on your Wordpress dashboard > Custom CSS area.
If you are editing style.css file directly and you can't see your changes then you are probably doing anything wrong there, such as not adding the correct CSS code or you may have added any wrong character on your CSS (read more).

Ok, this i have done - and my css is correct.
The changes in child/style.css by Coda, also shows up in WP back-end/Appearance/
But i still does not work...
Should i look in to the functions.php?
Your Custom CSS function is great - however it's not for 100% for my work flow. Please advise. BR /Stefan
Hi saalt,
I sincerely couldn't understand what you're trying to say, can you try to explain shortly but clear step by step what you're trying to achieve.
