I'm having a problem with my homepage slider, it loads very slowly and I would like to know if you can help me understanding what can be done for going faster.
The biggest problem is that the rest of my homepage appears first than my slider.
I'm using the Slider Revolution plugin that came with Kalium theme. My images size, in the slider that I'm using, have the maximum size of 350 Kb.
I have tried to change some settings in Slider Revolution slider, in the tab "Performance and SEO Optimization" > Lazy Load > Smart, but the problem is still there.
Hmm sliders usually load slower than the rest of the site. Please read this article How to speed up my site? and maybe that can help you to make a faster website.
Thanks a lot for your help, I went to the article that you sent me, and installed the plugins that are recommended, but even so it didn't work :S
I'll send you the link of the Kalium theme demo: https://demo.kaliumtheme.com/main, the difference between these one and mine is that the slider from these demo loads at the beginning, when you enter the website.
In my Homepage the information bellow the slider becomes first than the slider. In other words, the box that the slider needs appears only after the information bellow.
I'll send an image of what happens before the slider appears.
I have updated my theme and then I disabled the plugins as you said, but the problem is sill there. I don't know now what can I do. Hope you can help whit another solution.
Slider sometimes takes some tome to load because it requires some scripts to execute, that is related to multiple factors. I'm sorry but we don't have any solution to this.
If you want a professional help regarding to this, then maybe you can contact RS slider directly, but I don't think that they will reply to your question if you don't separately purchase this plugin.

Please update your theme to the latest version and then check if the same problem happens for you too.
If yes, then, please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don't come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.
