I am receiving notices from woocommerce that some files in Aurum are out of date and I would like to know how I can update to the later version. The website is not currently live so I would like to update the theme.

As we always write this information in Aurum changelog... "Laborator recommends not updating WooCommerce to a newer version than 2.6.14 before we release compatible version of latest WooCommerce update".
If you have already updated your WooCommerce then please read this article: Theme contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files.
