    Hi there,

To get the same look as the about page, here you have the documentation link to do so, you cannot import particular pages now as Visual Composer has built up some templates which we will implement in the future, that way you can import only a particular page.

I think you misunderstood my concern... The issue is, when I edit the layout a page via isual building the content of that particular page will be gone... So how can I build a query or display the content of a page when I edit its layout? Basically, I just need to fetch the content of a certain page if I edit that page using visual builder...

Couldn't understand either, can you explain it more from the beginning what you want to do and if possible include illustrations or screenshots!

    Thanks

It's pretty simple... If I would like to edit a certain page layout, but I have put content on that page already... How can I retrieve of fetch that content using the new layout of that particular page?

I think you want to copy the content of the page to a new page, then on that page just click on the Classic Mode button at the top of your content editing window and you will see your page converted to Visual Composer’s shortcodes.

Click on Text to see the HTML version of the page and Select All (Command – A on a Mac or Control – A on Windows).

Now create a new WordPress page and ensure you are still in Text mode. Just paste in all of the content you copied in the last step, click on the Visual Composer Backend Editor button and you’re good to go, with every single Visual Composer element and setting copied from the original page.

    Best regards,
