I really enjoy your theme! However I'm running into a problem with portfolio url rewrite.
I need to change the links: host.com/portfolio/example-post => host.com/works/example-post host.com/portfolio-category/cate1 => host.com/works/cate1
so I have changed the "portfolio slug" => works ,"category slug" => works , in the portfolio settings menu of kalium , and flushed rewrite rules, but they do not work: host.com/works/cate1 => 404 error
Please help me , it's a big trouble for me (>﹏<).... Thanks so much!
You don't have to change on the code nothing. Please read this article, you will find the section URL Rewrite Options, above that section you can find changes for slug.
After you did all your changes, please re save the permalink setting, (how to)

Well for moment I cannot help you cause you have local running theme, and i can't see the results. XML file didn't help. If you move your theme Online for sure we will be back to talk and check your requirements.
WP Credentials are yourdomain.com/wp-admin/ so User and Password u use to login are WP Credentials.

You had to create portfolio page first of all(How to). You can name this page 'works' (already done), you can find the page on pages section.
The page i just talked above has a unique slug works, and this will be reserved, for that reason portfolio items are named work due to not have conflicts, slug of portfolio-category now is 'works-category' this can not be named work or works.
Second issue is Menu.
Items you have added on Menu by using custom links, is not correct for your case. After creating pages you had to use Pages section to put Pages as link.
Please read Kalium documentation, there is lot to learn and to see some of our articles has video instructions.
I need this url goes well because I will send this link to other people. In another way, my client got this URL: http://unoslee.com/works/painting/ ,when he paste it in exploerer, it shows 404error. I am wondering if this bug can be fixed by code,or any other solutions? looking for your reply thank you !

Can you try for portfolio item to set work not works, and for category let it works. Check the image below

Please do not forget to save permalinks, after you set the new slugs.

You had to create portfolio page first of all(How to). You can name this page 'works' (already done), you can find the page on pages section.
