4.2 Update

    I am wondering what is the best way to do the 4.2 update, but not lose any of the information/pages/settings that I have already created on my site?

    Hi JeffPrince21,

    When you update the theme, you will not loose anything unless you have:

    1. Edited any file inside wp-content/themes/oxygen/ folder

    2. Translated the theme strings (translations are stored on wp-content/themes/oxygen/languages)

    So before updating the theme, if you have done any of the changes above, create a backup of oxygen folder (save a copy) and then update the theme.

    Pages and settings are stored on database so they are not touched.
