    Hi Lab,

    Hope you are well?

I would like to display "last modified date" instead of "publish date" for post pages  (which includes blog page, single post page, category, tag). And showing last modified date in stead of publish date on google's search result page (remove publish date in the code and use modified date instead).

I am uncertain about the proper way of doing it with Kalium.

Can you please help me out?

I also suggest kalium to add this feature in the future updates(let us to choose if we want to show publish date or last modified date) because showing last modified date will help with SEO, and this is what many webmaster really care about.

In fact, showing "last modified" date does not have direct influence on seo ranking, Google don't give a point for that, BUT CTR and BOUNCE RATE plays a big role here, and showing last modified date is proven to increase CTR rate and lower bounce rate. At the top of search page, we often see some title modifier like "newest, 2017", people are more interested in reading new things and most updated posts.

Also, even if a post is constantly up-to-date, reader will not know because the post only shows publish date. They might think this post is so out-date and bounce out!

    Hi kuanbc,

This is not possible by default on Wordpress or on our theme. But you can search for any plugin that can do this, maybe there is any plugin for this job.

    Thanks for your understanding!
