I would like to try by myself to import the demo content for you.
Is it possible for you to provide me the WP credentials so I can login and test demo import, and also FTP credentials so I can debug our code that imports demo content.
The reason why I need FTP access is because in our side everything works smoothly and I am not able to troubleshoot the issue.
To include your credentials click Insert Credentials button in editor toolbar. (See how)
I've found that the issue was definitely caused by the environment the site was deployed to as it was running it on a Ubuntu 14 server hosted on a virtual box VM. However I did manage to install the demo content grabbing an export from: http://demo-content.kaliumtheme.com/demo-content/freelancer/content.xml and importing it into my instance of WordPress. It reported an error during the import related to some menu not found or smth. but really it doesn't matter now as I have moved the site to the actual hosting server, deployed WP and Kalium from scratch, downloaded demo content and everything went well. So we can close this ticket. I have another question re/ translating portfolio labels, but I will open a new ticked for that.
Hi
Is there any method to trace down why the install of this demo content fails?
I'm getting the following error:
-------
Hooray! All Done.
View Freelancer Demo Content ยปHowever few errors appeared during the import process:[ErrType: xml-wp-content]
Sorry, there has been an error.
This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number
----
If I look at the progress window I see that Wordpress Content hasn't got installed (I see x next to it)
Hi Visvaldas,
