Premium plugins don’t allow us to give customers our license number, so on each premium plugin (such as Visual Composer, Revolution Slider and Layer Slider) update we release a new update to our theme with the latest version of that plugin included, and customers don’t need to worry about that,
You never need to purchase any premium plugins that comes with our theme, you can purchase them only if you need their support or want to use their extra features.
If you are using Aurum 2.9.6 then the latest version of Layer Slider plugin that we included on this theme update is 6.1.0.
If you can't update LayerSlider, go to Plugins and deactivate Layer Slider. Then go to Appearance > Install Plugins, you now can update and then activate this plugin again.

Hi I am getting the following error when trying to update LayerSlider WP.
