I can't find a way to have the same order either in shop page and in your woocommerce module too (ex: carousel). User has category and subcategories for products, and want to show products of same category closer. I tell him to use SKU for orders, but this is good only for shop page. In your module (for example carousel) there is no SKU sort option.
You can change the ordering of Shop Items (or Portfolio Items) easily by using the Post Types Order plugin, install and activate it, manage the ordering easily by dragging the titles of the items and don’t forget to Save all changes.
Please don't forget to go to Settings > Post Types Order > and activate Auto Sort option
