    I get this notice when trying to edit a portfolio post in visual composer. 

    Notice: map_meta_cap was called incorrectly. The post type portfolio is not registered, so it may not be reliable to check the capability "edit_post" against a post of that type. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 4.4.0.) in /srv/www/wordpress-default/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4136.

    I'm not sure if this is affecting my editing content/visual.

    Can you please share your site credentials here, because we need to login to your site and see this issue live. Your information is safe (private) in this thread.
