    Hi,

I am having trouble with the custom skin builder. It does not apply to my website. I have tried ticking the (If skin is showing 404 error or not being applied then check this option.) box and still nothing happens. Can you guys offer another solution?

    Thanks

    Hi Dilshan,

There seems to be some kind of caching in your host, I tried to change the colors and I had to hard-refresh your 2-3 times to view the changes. The problem is not with the Theme Styling but with the server, I tried even disabling the plugins but the issue was not there.

Try contacting someone from your server and ask them if there is a caching so they could remove it if it annoys you.

    Best regards,

    Hi Art,

So I had a chat with the server support they let me know that because my site is on a shared server there is no caching. However he did increase the php limits. I have changed some colours in my site and after checking through another browser see that it is somewhat working. All the colours in the skin builder are changing as I wanted except the background colour. When I change this and refresh my site, it appears for about half a second and goes white, is there any reason why this would be happening?

    Thanks

    Hi Dilshan,

The reason why the background did not change was because the background actually was an image, if you noticed it had some small dots around it as you can see in the Freelancer Demo of Kalium, now I removed it from the Custom CSS and it should react to your background color.

Sorry for the inconvenience and wish you a great weekend!

    Best regards,
