I have been trying to update the Kalium theme from Version: 1.9.4.2 to the latest Version 2.X, without success, in 2 ways:
1) First I tried it via the Envato Market Plugin and entering the API (global), that I created in my Envato account. It wasn't accepted, with the following error message:
"The OAuth Personal Token could not be verified. Please check that the Token has been entered correctly and has the minimum required permissions."
2) Then I downloaded the latest ZIP-file of the theme and tried to upload it in Wordpress. No luck, with the following error message: "Are you sure you want to do that? Please try again."
Your description in the help section of the theme refers to the Envato Toolkit which now is Envato Market and looks completely different and has different/less entry fields.
I am using the latest Wordpress Version and PHP 5.6X. And I created my site as a Kalium Child Theme. I would appreciate your help in finding a solution.
I'm not sure why Envato Market is not working for you. Because you just follow this little procedure http://drops.laborator.co/pLFH
You can also update your theme manually by just going to your Downloads tab on themeforest > go to our item and click Download > then go to your downloads folder and unzip our theme > open folder that you unzipped > unzip kalium.zip > open kalium(2) folder that you unzipped and copy all of it’s content, then go to your wordpress files, *wp-content >themes > kalium* paste and replace all the files that you copied earlier.
P.S: After you update to Kalium 2.0.x you can delete Envato Toolkit and Envato Market plugins now because on the Kalium 2 when you activate the product, updates of the theme will show once they are available. So you can update the theme very easily.
