    Hi Arlind,

    URL: http://www.chrissutton.com

    Wordpress 4.7

    Kalium Version 2.0.3.1

I was having issues prior to Christmas with the Kalium theme, and while we sorted out a couple of issues, there remains a significant problem with the site displaying on iOS, V 9.3.5 but I've had feedback that it happens on other iOS versions, and I'm testing it on an iPhone 6

The issue is that after scrolling down the page and returning to the top, if you then attempt to refresh the page by pulling the page down, the menu and logo flicker and then disappear. This is evident on the home page and any page where you can scroll down.

I can provide login details on a private ticket if you require them.

    Thanks

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

I understand this issue and it seems to be related to our script. I wanted to check it in FTP but I couldn't login to your FTP with given details:

Can you please send me your correct ftp credentials so I can check what is the problem.

    Hi Chris,

I have changed the code and now problem seems to be solved.

Can you please check and see if it works for you as well?

The fix will be contained in the upcoming update also.

    Hi Arlind,

Thanks for getting back to me.

On my phone I'm still getting the issue, despite refreshing the page and clearing browser cache.

Let me know if there's anything else I need to do.

    Kind Regards
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

I have checked it in mobile and here is the result:

It is working on my side?!

    Hi Arlind,

The issue remains: if you scroll down, then back to the top, then pull the page down to refresh, the flickering of the logo and menu starts at that point. In your video, you didn't pull the page down to refresh which is what is triggering the behaviour now.

    Cheers

    Hi Chris,

Is it possible for you to record the screen while triggering this issue because I am not having luck to see what is the problem. Sorry about that.

    Hi Arlind,

I don't have any video screen capture software, is there something you'd recommend? If not, I'll set up a camera to record it.

    Cheers

    Hi Chris,

If you are on Mac, simply install X Code and it will come with Simulator plugin, from there you can open Quick Time to record your screen while testing the issue. See how:

    Hi Arlind,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, sadly I'm on Windows :) I'll set my camera up and record with that.

    Kind Regards

    Hi Arlind,

I'm happy to advise that installing the new Kalium update today seems to have resolved this issue. It occasionally reoccurs, but I suspect that's primarily because there are multiple cache servers in front of the cPanel servers and occasionally an old version of the page might get served. This should resolve automatically as the cached content expires automatically.

Thanks for your help on this, and for releasing the latest version.

    Cheers

    Chris

    Dear Chris,

I am happy to hear that it worked for you and hopefully this issue won't happen again.

    Have a great weekend there.

Will set this ticket as solved.
